about

'Songs from the Vault' serves as a capstone for both Bootleg Series Season One and the Threadsboro Saga (every Pink Hat® release from 2016-2019) as a whole. Celebrating music from all four of their studio albums, this live compilation adds a new twist to old favorites, like the re-imagined "Neighbors" or the jam-band edition of "Calvin Klein." Add the single "Bringing Me Down," the last song written by Keplinger and Siegel during their time in Tennessee, and you have a worthy tribute to the Threadsboro Saga.

Track Name: Bringing Me Down (Live on Bootleg Series)
I wanna keep on rolling
And I wanna keep on growing
And you wanna keep on pulling
You're bringing me down

I'm here, wide awake, and I'm losing sleep
I called Mom and Dad, but they can't hear me
Two days have gotten behind me, but I'm not through
And it's bringing me down, it's bringing me down

I'm up on a mountaintop trying to find my place
I'm out on the 105 to the Granite State
Two years have gotten behind me, but I'm not through
And it's bringing me down, quit bringing me down

I wanna keep on rolling
And I wanna keep on growing
And you wanna keep on pulling
You're bringing me down
You're bringing me down

I'm running out of bread and I need some more
And I'm stuck in a dead-end job cuz I can't be poor
Two years have gotten behind me, but I'm not through
And it's bringing me down, it's bringing me down

I'm upping day to day, and it's all so clear
I'm out on the 109 cuz I can't be here
Two years have gotten behind me, but I'm not through
Cuz it's bringing me down, quit bringing me down

Why am I falling apart?
It feels like every step I take is two steps backwards
And I can't quite get to the start
But it feels like every day I live, I live in slumber

I wanna keep on rolling
And I wanna keep on growing
And you wanna keep on pulling
You're bringing me down
I wanna keep on moving
And I wanna keep on grooving
And you wanna keep on pulling
You're pulling me down

I won't bring me down
